The role is the HR Business Partner (VIC) and will be based in Bayswater. Reporting to the GM HR - Transport, you will be part of a team that works closely with our employees, management team and other important stakeholders. You will play a key role in implementing our employee strategies that are directly linked to the global strategic vision and our plans to become the employer of choice.
In this role you need to be an excellent communicator, able to effectively work in a fast paced and dynamic environment where you will be required to liaise with and influence internal and external stakeholders. Ideally you will be working in a hands on HR capacity in your current role as well as have a proven track record of excellence within Human Resources.
- Focus and support the NSW Transport operations
- Responsible for all HR activities including performance management, recruitment, HR reporting, inductions
- Ensuring the successful implementation of the HR and Employee strategies
- Support to Business leaders on all HR/ER related matters
- Development and review of policies
- Liaison with key internal and external stakeholders
- Support the roll out of local and regional programs
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. HR certification is a plus
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in a HR role
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations
- Demonstrated experience in providing strategic HR support and guidance to managers and employees.
- Proven ability to handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution and performance management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities simultaneously
- High level of integrity and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Transport background (highly desirable)
