What will your typical day look like?
As a Director in our Data & AI team, you will work closely with your clients to deeply understand their business challenges and design next generation, cloud-based solutions using leading data and analytics tools. You will lead your project team to address our client's most complex problems, through delivering next generation data platforms, data engineering and data science AI solutions into production environments.
You will be coaching, growing and inspiring your team members to follow leading practices and demonstrate delivery excellence. You will work closely with our practice and alliance leads to develop and grow our practice. This will include team events, brown bag sessions, webinars, hackathons or tabling new ideas for assets or solutions. Your career coach will work with you to create a tailored plan that aligns your ambitions with our practice needs, including providing you access to leading training and certification programs and development opportunities.
You will contribute to the growth and development of the team through business development activity and managing client relationships, as well being an integral part of our recruiting, training, and team engagement activities. Our diverse Data & AI team comprises over 500 specialist practitioners across Australia, each of whom are constantly curious and excited about combining their business acumen and technological expertise to create data-centric solutions that help solve complex problems and transform, or reinvent our client’s business.
Our Data & AI teamwork with public and private sector clients helping them to design and implement world leading solutions and capabilities. From solving air and ground transport network issues through our industry-first Optimal Reality digital twin solution, bringing automation capabilities to vaccine rollout programs, to helping our clients move to a sustainable world, we are the partner of choice for our clients and our alliance vendors.
Our relationships with market leading vendors such as AWS, Microsoft, Google, Apple, Snowflake, Salesforce, and Informatica enable our practitioners to be at the forefront of new and emerging capabilities and to deliver our suite of services at scale. Enough about us, let’s talk about you.
You’ll have experience in:
- At least 10 years’ experience in data analytics including senior leadership roles
- Building strategic client relationships and building new sales opportunities for the Data and AI practice.
- Managing and communicating with diverse stakeholders to drive organizational change
- Championed data science projects with demonstratable business impact from ideation to production
- Led and developed high performing virtual teams
- Experience identifying new opportunities in the market and designing creative solutions
- New client development and business development experience preferably in data driven consulting environment
- Ability to influence executives and senior leaders in mid-large sized organizations around the value of data solutions
- Experience providing advice on how Data and AI can solve critical business problems
- Experience deploying advanced statistical and machine learning solutions into production environments.
- Experience with cloud services, including AWS, Microsoft Azure and data and analytics partners including Databricks and Snowflake to name a few.
