What will your typical day look like?
You will work closely with the WHS Manager on nationally led WHS projects and programs, enabling Deloitte’s workplace health and safety strategic plan creating a positive and safe place to work. Working across all facets of WHS you will oversee the HR (WHS) policy manual review process and assist with policy development, assist with COVID-19 management and response and draft internal communications, meeting agendas and minute taking. You will also assist with the development and delivery of WHS training and organise return to work co-ordinators and WHS Committee Training. This is a fantastic opportunity to continue to build your knowledge and capability in a large organisation.

You will be adaptable, approachable, and collaborative in your interactions with our diverse stakeholders to educate and assist them in understanding and performing their health and safety responsibilities.

You are someone with:

  • 1-2 years’ experience in a WHS coordinator or advisor role
  • The ability to prioritise multiple tasks from multiple sources and meet deadlines
  • A ‘can-do’ attitude and a proactive approach to duties and tasks
  • A passion for process simplification and continuous improvement
  • Exemplary written, verbal and presentation communication skills
  • The ability to identify, analyse and resolve problems
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • A collaborative and consultative approach
  • Ability to think strategically and translate this into practical operational outcomes
