Job Description
The Opportunity
We are seeking a permanent full time experienced manufacturing operator in our manufacturing facility located in Parkville. Reporting to the Formulation Team Leader, the Formulation Operator will perform a variety of tasks required in the pharmaceutical production process.
The Role
Completion of Batch Documentation and documentation of in-process quality checks
Prepare equipment used in the process such as intermediate bottles, fittings, filters and machine parts
Routine cleaning of plant and production work areas including automated and manual washing of equipment
Operation of laboratory equipment including autoclaves and centrifuges and perform simple equipment maintenance
Using aseptic practices to complete manufacturing work sessions for relevant processes
It is expected that all tasks will be completed in accordance with cGMP, Seqirus Quality Management System, TGA/FDA/DAWR/OGTR regulatory requirements, as well as Seqirus Environmental Health and Safety requirements and CSL Values
Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate must:
Minimum 12 months experience in a GMP environment in the pharmaceutical industry
Possess experience in working in a team environment to achieve targets and meet deadlines
Aseptic manufacturing experience and grade A or B qualifications will be highly regarded
Have completed VCE or equivalent, however tertiary qualifications in science are preferred
Working knowledge of MS Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and SAP or similar systems would be beneficial
Be able to carefully and accurately follow policies and procedures
Have excellent attention to detail, specifically experience in completing in-process checks and batch documentation
Demonstrated proficient level of mechanical aptitude
Be an effective communicator, demonstrate initiative and be flexible and adaptable
All employees working in the Influenza Manufacturing facility are required to be immunised against any relevant influenza virus. It is an inherent requirement of the role that all employees maintain an up to date immunisation status.
Personal Protective Clothing and Equipment (PPCE) is required for many of the activities listed above.
The position is a full time permanent role, Monday to Friday. Some weekend work and over time will be a requirement of this position.
