Your Opportunity

We are now seeking applications for a qualified and experienced Leading Hand Diesel Fitter to join our on-site construction team for our APLNG Project.

Our minimum requirements for this role are:

  • 5 years + diesel fitting experience on a large-scale Oil & Gas or civil construction environment
  • Mechanical trade qualifications
  • Previous site-based experience working with Caterpillar and Vermeer machines.
  • Leadership of maintenance team following managers and supervisors’ directives
  • Source technical information from the relevant available reference manuals, technical bulletins, and computer-based systems eg Caterpillar SIS & ET
  • Source and requisition parts and / or equipment requirements through the appropriate manuals or publications using the correct ordering procedure
  • General Construction Induction Card (White Card)
  • HR drivers’ licence (desirable)
  • An understanding and demonstrated commitment to OH&S, risk management and hazard identification

This role is offered on a roster arrangement DIDO / FIFO from Brisbane or local hire, working 19 days on and 9 days off roster.
