Your business:
The Technology division delivers the Group's information technology and banking operation functions to ensure the highest levels of customer service through world-class process excellence and technology innovation.
Group Security protects the bank and our customers from theft, losses and risk events, through effective and proactive management of cyber security, privacy and operational risk.
Your new team:
As the Protective Security and Business Resilience Service Manager you will be joining the Property and Protective Security Technology IT Team, which is part of CommBanks wider Group and Security Engineering practice.
The Property and Protective Security IT team delivers, manages, and hold accountability over a number of technologies and services for our business stakeholders. They define the technology strategy and roadmap, build strong partnerships with stakeholders and deliver on agreed priorities, while being accountable for defined outcomes.
This team provides a vital function across CommBanks complex cyber security landscape and works closely with the business, vendor partners and other teams within Technology.
Your impact and contribution:
This role will offer you the opportunity to manage and support cutting-edge technology services and solutions that focus on business resilience and staff and customer health and safety.
As the Protective Security and Business Resilience Service Manager your main area of accountability will focus on helping ensure critical services relating to business resilience, CCTV, alarms and other physical technology infrastructure are safe, sound and secure.
You will offer ongoing support and consultative advice to the wider business, relevant stakeholders and executive managers through uplifting and implementing new service management process and procedures, while partnering with key vendors, managing SLA's and key performance outcomes.
Select areas of accountability will see you:
- Working closely with Service Owners, Operations Teams and Risk to ensure the critical PSBR services are managed and governed appropriately.
- Manage, consult and partner with key vendors to ensure the Bank's contract agreements and expectations are managed.
- Identify and lead service and process improvements to ensure that technical solutions continue to meet business requirements, including making recommendations on how the effectiveness of services could be improved.
- Manage and participate in change, incident and problem management activities, ensuring that all aspects of service management are communicated and managed with appropriate governance.
- Provide 24/7support with our Operational teams as required.
We are interested in people who:
We are on the lookout for an experienced IT professional with a key focus and understanding across Service Management, working across a complex and ever-changing security landscape.
You will bring a proficiency in stakeholder and vendor management with a strong functional and process driven understanding of IT services and the technologies that underpin them.
- We're open to applicants with limited cyber experience, however, a strong experience in IT delivery and service management is a must.
- You are an ITIL v4 I certified professional with commercial experience in delivering key outcomes across services management best practices.
- An excellent track record in managing the operational health and governance of IT Services.
- Experience in managing a large number of key vendors across a complex IT landscape.
- Proactively contribute to the resolution of technical incidents, partner with key stakeholders, business partners and suppliers to manage and resolve service related risks, issues and problems.
- Good technical understanding across IT services and solutions.
