About the role

In this role you will support the Micro Space & Process Manager and work closely with the Merchandise teams across all categories.

What you'll be doing

As a Micro Space Analyst you will partner closely with category managers to deliver a customer focused range in our stores, support the range review process and provide supporting data and information to aid in decision making.

You'll also:

  • Develop and maintain planograms for stores ensuring space optimisation and that products are merchandised in a consistent and logical flow that is easy to navigate for customers
  • Support the category teams to determine the appropriate distribution for new products and deletions
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and develop supporting tools to deliver improvements in micro space planning and return on space
  • Ensure adherence to CLG Safety standard

Good things you'll need

  • Previous experience in Range and Space within a fast-paced Retail/FMCG environment (preferred)
  • Experience working with customer and market insights
  • Prior experience of assortment planning and planogram development
  • Understanding of both the theory and practical issues associated with range reviews
  • Strong capacity to communicate and influence effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders at multiple levels
  • Problem solving, analytical and numeracy skills
  • A genuine passion for retail and a genuine desire to see your work come to life for our customers in stores
  • Technical skills and demonstrated experience in using Space Planning software
