About the role

The engine room of our business, our Central Operations team keeps us moving and delivering our services to all Australians. We empower and support our retail teams across the country, helping them deliver great experiences for our customers every single day.

Our Remuneration Systems team plays a crucial system support role to the wider workforce planning and labour standards teams. Providing technical and problem-solving assistance to ensure systems perform at optimum capacity. We are looking for an experienced systems analyst to join the team on a permanent basis.

What you’ll be doing

Using your technical systems experience, you will provide key support across our workforce and renumeration teams, by automating processes, problem solving issues and maintaining key system tools.

You'll also

• maintain key systems such as Kronos and Standards Pro to support the Labour Standards teams with target updates
• find ways to simplify and automate manual excel processes to improve usability and efficiency
• provide a key communication link with the IT team, reporting on bugs and fixes. Also requesting the running of adhoc system jobs where required
• manage the weekly business function tasks supporting with data extraction and reporting for the Labour standards team
• build and maintain process documentation and ‘how to’ guides as system processes are developed

Good things you’ll need

we are looking for a combination of technical systems support experience and a strong team player. Having the ability to work together to solve complex problems

you’ll also need

• experience working with excel (advanced), Microsoft SQL, Oracle SQL and Visual Basic for Application (Excel VBA) is essential
• tertiary degree in an IT or statistical analysis related field
• experience working in a technical support role with a systems focus
• proven examples of reporting from data sets that allow business teams to make informed decisions
• strong communication skills with the ability to understand technical system problems, find solutions and effectively communicate with IT specialists
• have a strong team ethic with a collaborative approach to problem solving #LI-OPS
