About the role
The P&C Direct team is responsible for the delivery of common, repeatable and transactional P&C activity which has enterprise-wide reach and is aligned to the functional or corporate strategy.
As the HR Advisor you will be responsible for the execution of a range of P&C cyclical activities and responding to line manager queries. As the first point of contact, HR Advisors ensure the timely, accurate and consistent resolution for P&C queries and support strategic HR Managers across the business in the delivery of the Strategic People Plans.
What you'll be doing
- Provide HR policy and procedural advice to line managers;
- Ensure HR processes and policies are robustly applied in a way that ensures business objectives are met and respect and care for team members maintained; and,
- Drive continuous improvement
Good things you'll need
- Tertiary qualified or demonstrated strong performance in a HR/P&C role
- Sound knowledge, skill and experience of general HR/P&C practices, systems and methodologies
- Proven interpersonal and organisational skills, with an ability to get things done well in a timely manner
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and to work under pressure to deadlines
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to solve problems and negotiate outcomes
- Working knowledge of the Australian human resources framework and best practice
