About the role
The Vibe team mission is to build a workplace that cultivates Canva’s culture and inspires us all to do the best work of our lives.
The Wellbeing Lead will grow and champion the wellbeing space. You will capture what wellbeing means for Canva in a way that meets the expectations of a very diverse global team. You’ll be incredibly progressive with how you think about the challenges of scaling wellbeing to a thriving team, and bring innovative and creative solutions to the table to supercharge global wellbeing. Defining what wellbeing at Canva does (& doesn’t) mean will enable you to set the wellbeing strategy. This role is to build the ecosystem for wellbeing which will also be very cross-functional across multiple groups and teams within Canva, so you will be regularly collaborating with multiple collaborators across the organisation.

What you'll do:

  • Lead the global wellbeing space at Canva and support ongoing initiatives
  • You will be inspiring change and empowering Canvanauts across all things wellbeing
  • Ensure Canva has a truly global wellbeing program and our team is supported in their wellbeing journey through a nurturing, inspiring and safe environment.
  • You will be elevating wellbeing across a world class team. You’ll ensure wellbeing is supported holistically & you’ll encourage and facilitate Canvanauts to continue to grow and improve on their own wellbeing.
  • You will be the go to person for our workplace Employee Assistance, Mental Health and Wellbeing programs. And support group health care and work health & safety claims management.
  • You will support our people partners in crisis management and ensure wellbeing programming is evolving & flexible enough to respond to our team's needs, feedback and emotional state; guaranteeing they are getting the world's best support.
  • You will create strong relationships with our Total Rewards (benefits), Internal Coaching, Vibe & People Partner teams. And collaborate to design, evolve & operationalise the working model for wellbeing at Canva.
  • Who you are:

  • Skilled in global wellness vision, strategy development & implementation. This is a new area for us and would love you to help us to build out this space and chart new territory.
  • Someone who enjoys communicating with the many team members and Canvanauts. This role will be working closely with many people across cross-functional teams and specialties, as well as with our partners externally, so we're looking for someone who enjoys communication with a wide range of personalities and perspectives!
  • Extensive knowledge and proven experience of working on workplace EAP, Mental Health and Wellbeing programs.
  • Knowledge of group health care and work health and safety (WHS) claims management and legislation. Experience in supporting workers compensation & injury management claims.
  • A Clinical Psychology or Organisational Psychology background. The ability to navigate sensitive and complex wellbeing issues.
  • Experience in delivering professional wellness programs across an array of preventative and acute approaches based on trends, data and surveys. This may include planning wellbeing activations through to crafting more long term visions. You will also facilitate between employee’s and decision makers about special case requests. And help define guidelines and be the point of contact for our providers.
  • The ability to collate data, including anecdotal and report on themes back to the business.
  • You have a keen eye and enthusiasm for the ‘behind the scenes’ aspects of building out the wellbeing programme. You comfortably build systems and processes that will scale all aspects of the Wellbeing programme globally. You happily roll your sleeves up and get the job done. No task is too small or too big if it helps us achieve our goals.
