About the role
It is an exciting time to coming on board at BAC, with unprecedented infrastructure development planned over the next decade. This role is a key appointment within our Major Projects Group who are delivering a program of works in the Terminals precinct in the order of $1b. Reporting to the Project Director for the ITB Security & Retail Upgrade Program, you will be instrumental in delivering a legacy project that is reshaping the international terminal building.
Key responsibilities
Provide senior level Project Management skill and expertise in performing your role and duties including but not limited to management and leadership of project, team, stakeholders, cost, time, quality, risk, safety, procurement, approvals, design, construction, and reporting
- Where assigned resources to support the delivery of a project, provide leadership, direction, guidance and development to those resources in alignment with the team’s expectations. Establish a common understanding of a high performing team and how it aligns to BACs values. Model that behaviour for the team.
- Develop strategies to optimise the delivery of projects under your remit, ensuring your strategies align with the broader group’s delivery strategies. The strategies are to include optimisation in time, cost and quality aspects of delivering the projects.
- Investigate, develop and implement infrastructure projects under general guidance and with minimal supervision, to achieve high quality outcomes, including on time and on-budget.
- Accountable for the preparation of contract documentation, including negotiations leading to contract execution within the team.
- Where nominated act as the Principal’s Representative on contracts.
Experience and qualifications ertiary qualifications or equivalent in Project Management or Building/Architectural or Engineering or Construction Management.
