Casual Administration & Customer Service Pool

We are seeking applications for casual Customer Service and Administrators (38 hours per week) to support Box Hill Institute during peak periods or to backfill short term vacancies.

The successful candidates will need to have demonstrated experience in customer service and/or administrative roles. Previous experience in the education environment is desirable.

These roles will be based at our Elgar Road Campus in Box Hill however some roles may be based at our Lilydale or City campuses.

How it works:

  • Box Hill Institute will establish a pool of suitable candidates who are available to be employed at any time for casual positions
  • The offer of a casual position will be on an as needed basis. Eg; we have a short term casual administration position that needs to be filled in a Faculty; we will contact candidates from the pool to check availability to be placed into this role
  • Once the short term role finishes, you will return to the casual pool for the next opportunity that may arise OR you may be extended

About You:

  • Able to provide or willing to obtain current National Police Records check
  • Have a current Employee Working With Children Check (WWCC) card
  • Evidence of full Australian working rights
  • Recent and relevant work experience in administration and/or customer service
  • Your values align to ours. Together we are curious, trustworthy and compassionate.
  • Experience in working collaboratively as part of a team to achieve team goals, including excellent organisational skills, flexibility during peak periods, and ability to adapt to changing priorities is essential
  • High level of interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, with demonstrated experience in preparing high quality, accurate correspondence and reports to stakeholders
  • Proficiency in all MS Office applications for a range of tasks including but not limited to, generating letters, reports and database management
