About the Role
The Officer Site Systems is responsible for supporting the coordination, improvement and governance of the SHMS, Risk Management, Contract Management, Training Scheme and Training Needs Analysis (TNA) across NPI (Planning, Systems and Improvement).
This role plays an integral part in the sites compliance to the Queensland Coal Mining Safety and Health Act and Regulation and Workplace Health and Safety Legislation
This position is critical for our BMA operations to ensure the NPI portfolio continues to support our BMA mine sites with safe operations for our CWM who require the services of Aviation, Bussing, Water, Villages and Housing Maintenance team.
Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Govern the NPI Site Systems management systems, which include Safety Health Management System, Risk Management System, Contract Management System and Training Scheme to ensure alignment with legislative and corporate requirements.
- Work collaboratively with Department training representatives and leaders to ensure compliance and continuous improvement of the Training System
- Develops, reviews and implements training packages
- Coordinate improvements to the Site’s Management Systems
- Coach and support responsible/appointed roles to execute training required under training schemes
- Provision of site based support and management of the NPI Non-Mining Intellipermit System.
About You
You will work within a small site team to execute activities and deliver business visibility across all systems and training. To be successful in this position, you will need a Cert IV in Training & Assessment TAE40122 (or willingness to obtain). Your attributes will include:
- Microsoft programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio)
- Knowledge of BHP systems including TEMPO, LMS; SuccessFactors, RightCrowd, Intellics, D2, SAP, SAMS, Amex GFT, TMT, Corvus, Webex and Intellipermit (highly desirable)
- Strong business and customer oritnetation;
- Excellent facilitation, presentation, inpersonal and communication skills;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
