About the Role

We are currently seeking experienced Blast Crew Technicians to join our Drill & Blast teams across Western Australia. As a Production Technician in the Blast Crew, you will be responsible for carrying out the open pit charging and blasting services across site. With a large variety of physical tasks, this role will primarily see you assist the qualified Shotfirer to load hoses and stem drill holes in preparation to detonate explosives that will support mining activity on-site.

There are various working models and rosters available to suit your lifestyle, including FIFO, DIDO and residential opportunities. Relocation will also be considered, with a generous relocation package on offer for certain locations and roles.

About you

We are seeking individuals who have knowledge of explosives, storage regulations and loading practices within the mining industry and are passionate about continuous improvement.

To be successful for this role, you will be a meticulous operator who can demonstrate a safety mindset to promote a culture of zero harm and can be adaptable to the ever-changing environment.

Minimum of a C class manual drivers’ licence is required. However, a valid Dangerous Goods Security Card (DGSC) and Heavy Rigid (HR) drivers’ licence will be considered highly advantageous.
