About the Role

Are you an organized and adaptable professional passionate about facilities management? As a Facilities Coordinator at BGIS, you’ll be the central hub for our management office, delivering exceptional service to both internal and external stakeholders. This dynamic role requires a proactive approach to managing maintenance requests, ensuring compliance with WHS and environmental policies, and supporting the Operations and Facilities Management team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the first point of contact for all internal and external stakeholders regarding contract-related queries.
  • Manage and action maintenance requests from clients and tenants, ensuring seamless operation.
  • Oversee and maintain the CMMS system, tracking Preventative and Reactive work orders.
  • Allocate and delegate work orders to meet contract KPIs and service expectations.
  • Provide day-to-day support to the Operations Manager and Facilities Managers.
  • Ensure all stakeholders adhere to WHS & Environmental policies and procedures.
What You’ll Bring

Experience:

  • Solid experience in property or corporate real estate, or a senior role in a similarly complex industry.
  • Proven ability to deliver integrated Property Management, Facilities Management, Project Management, and Financial Management services.
  • Knowledge of building services and maintenance requirements.
  • Expertise in scoping, tendering, and subcontract documentation.
  • Strong multi-tasking skills and ability to provide high-quality reports and recommendations.
  • Familiarity with QA, WHS, and environmental systems.

Skills:

  • Strong business acumen and financial management capabilities.
  • Adaptability to change and a proactive approach to challenges and opportunities.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and experience with CMMS systems.

Qualifications:

  • High School Certificate or equivalent
  • Current First Aid Certificate (preferred).
  • Training in OH&S, QA, and environmental legislation is advantageous.
