Our Change and Organisation Design team are embedding how change is designed, delivered, and measured across the enterprise, working on large profile transformational programs of work. Engaging with teams across the Enterprise to prioritise the right changes at the right times, minimising risk, realising the benefits, and most importantly ensuring these changes land positively with our people.
About the role
We currently have a permanent Change Manager position available where you to work within a multi-year program that is focusing on uplifting our enterprise risk management capabilities, culture, and processes in supporting us to be Australia’s better big bank!
You will be working with an exciting and enthusiastic Program team, business leaders and report through to our central Change Management and Org Design practice, where you will be supported to provide the best in change management. The work spans across all types of change including Technology, Data, People, Governance and more.
Your focus will predominantly be on the initial road mapping of change across initiatives, as they begin and building out a change approach with detailed impact assessments. You will have experience in end-to-end change management and within the program and project management environment working on Risk and Compliance initiatives within a financial institution (preferably a bank).
Ideally this role will be based in one of our main office locations in Melbourne, Bendigo, or Adelaide for the two days per week that you’re in the office, noting that hybrid ways of working are core to how we operate today.
As a Change Manager, you will:
- Plan and drive execution of all business change activities associated with these workforce change programs of work
- Conduct detailed impact assessment workshops with impacted stakeholder groups and develop mitigation activities to ensure adoption of the change
- Drive change readiness and adoption by developing appropriate interventions to inspire, engage and achieve adoption
- Apply and embed our Change Management Framework, supporting agile practices and processes
- Identify, manage, and resolve high impact risks and issues
- Actively contribute to the continual improvement of Change frameworks, methods, and tools
- Collaborate with your team, key stakeholders, and project and business resources, build capability, and foster a continuous learning culture
To be successful in the role, you'll have:
- Demonstrated experience in managing change plans on large scale enterprise-wide projects involving technology and people changes in complex, matrixed organisations
- Proven capabilities developing and executing change program strategies
- Experience working on organisational change initiatives particularly around communication of technology changes and adoption
- Experience with deployment and communication of operating model and structure changes
- High level consulting skills, being able to confidently influence, engage and partner
- Experience using agile tools (eg. JIRA, Confluence, Rally)
- Advanced PC skills (Visio, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
