Boilermaker

We currently have an exciting opportunity for multiple Boilermakers to join our maritime sustainment program based in Henderson, WA. The position will initially be a 6 month fixed-term contract with a review after 3 months whether it will run into a 12 month fixed-term contract.

Your new role:
- Perform fabrication duties in the workshop
- Repair work on the Anzac Class Navy Frigates and/or Commercial vessels
- Read and interpret engineering drawings
- General housekeeping and other duties as required
- Pay rate: $47.11ph + penalties + 10.5% superannuation
- Working hours: 8 hours per day, Mon-Fri – occasional overtime in busier periods
- Gain experience working for a world leader in defence
About you
As an ideal applicant for this opportunity, you will need the following:
- Relevant Trade Qualification - Boilermaker
- Previous Fabrication experience
- Ability to work autonomously or part of a team
- An excellent attitude towards safety
- Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screen
