Your new role:
As the Communications Coordinator, you will coordinate and implement communications activities that promote and protect BAE Systems Australia's brand and reputation with internal and external stakeholders. In particular, the Communications Coordinator will support the wider Defence Delivery team with content optimisation, coordinating reporting and measurement and coordination of key content platforms.
More specifically, you will:
- Research, develop and distribute content that drives business results
- Provide coordination and support across key internal and external platforms
- Further develop and support regular reporting and measurement
- Assist with coordination of BAE Systems Australia's attendance at exhibitions and conferences, as relevant, and customer events
- Support and coordinate the development and delivery of internal and external collateral.
- Provide other support to the team as required
About you
As an ideal applicant for this opportunity, you'll have:
- Experience in a corporate communications or marketing environment, ideally degree qualified.
- Passion for marketing communications, particularly strategic content and channel optimisation
- Interest in working in an issues-intensive environment, with ability to translate complex information into engaging communications
- Proficiency with the Microsoft suite, SharePoint and Adobe, experience with CMS helpful but not essential
