Join our Worker Compensation team as the Case Manager based at Sydney or Newcastle.

Your new role

Reporting to the Manager Workers Compensation, the Case Manager facilitates the prompt and durable recovery from workplace injuries/illnesses by performing all activities associated with the case management health and injury management claims within a regulatory framework whilst minimising the organisation’s financial liability.

As the Case Manager, you will be given an opportunity to elevate your career in a business that is revolutionising the world of energy.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Providing advice and guidance to leaders and employees regarding workers compensation and health/injury management issues.
  • Perform end-to-end case management of claims.
  • Influence and collaborate with key stakeholders on the claim to facilitate return to work outcomes and or resolution of the claim.
  • Undertake claims investigations and recommend and implement strategies for resolution.
  • Facilitate information management and case management under the guidance of the manager to resolve litigated or emerging litigated claims such as instructing legal advisors and reviewing strategy aimed at reducing cost
