Your role at Ausgrid
Reporting to the Portfolio Manager the Project Delivery Officer (PDO) will work with a team of Engineers and Engineering Officers to plan the safe and efficient delivery of maintenance and augmentation work programs on the electrical distribution network.
The PDO manages internal and external stakeholder relationships and provides quality job documentation to field teams to ensure the safe delivery of work for the continued reliable operation of Ausgrid’s network.
- Effectively plan work to enable safe and efficient completion by field employees.
- Manage minor projects or programs of work, or elements of these across the overall life cycle, such as planning and delivery, or the end‐to‐end process.
- Undertake planning of labour, plant, equipment, materials and contracted services to enable schedule delivery.
Success Profile
We are looking for someone who is Trade qualified with technical expertise gained within the energy industry. You will have a proven capability to work effectively in a team environment with strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with a variety of stakeholders. Safety will be your core value and you will be passionate about delivering a safe & reliable network for our customers.
- Demonstrated ability to apply experience to resolve routine issues during delivery of works in the field.
- Demonstrated experience in the planning, coordinating or supervising of work activities and / or resources.
- Demonstrated capability to manage multiple tasks and / or projects and prioritise activities.
- Intermediate computer skills with experience in a variety of software packages, tools or general applications.
