Your role at Ausgrid
Reporting to the Network Pricing Manager, the Senior Pricing Analyst maintains Ausgrid’s network pricing models, calculates large network users prices, contributes to models and inputs for regulatory submissions, and supports the ongoing development of tariffs to prepare for emerging energy technologies such as electric vehicles. This role will see you undertake tariff strategy analysis, including proposed changes to prices in preparation for future distributed energy resources, including the two-way interaction with the network from rooftop PV and batteries.
Success Profile
The successful candidate will be degree qualified in Engineering, Business, or relevant field, coupled with the proven ability to develop complex pricing models to provide insight and analysis into the customer and business impacts associated with tariff strategy. You will have extensive experience in spreadsheet modelling and someone who has a background in pricing policy and strategy and a knowledge of the NEM and regulatory framework. You are a strong communicator, thrive in an environment where you must plan and priortise, you are adaptable, agile and work well in a collaborative work group.
- Past experience in a network pricing role will be highly regarded.
- Good understanding of the economic, regulatory, and engineering concepts relevant to network pricing, and the ability to convey these concepts to both internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent presentation and writing skills, ability to communicate complex technical issue in plain English.
