Trainee Driver
Location : Jilalan (Sarina) & Coppabella (near Moranbah)

About the role:
Aurizon’s Jilalan & Coppabella depots are seeking expressions of interest from safety focused individuals who would like undertake training to become a locomotive driver. To excel in this position you will relish to opportunity to learn new skills and put into practice what you are taught in the classroom to become a professional train operator.
- 24x7 rotating shift roster 365 days a year including nights, weekends and public holidays
- Apply theoretical knowledge from training to practical operation
- Work in accordance with Aurizon's safety and operational standards and procedures
- Undertake Locomotive driver training and successfully complete modules within six months
About you:
- All-encompassing focus on safety along with great interpersonal skills
- Superior team work skills
- Must be available to work 24/7 shift roster
- Current unrestricted Class C drivers licence
- Be available to commence this year and not have any prior commitments for the first 9 months of the training program.
