Atlassian is seeking an experienced Global Mobility APAC Manager to join our Total Rewards Team, reporting to the Global Mobility Senior Manager. You will serve as the regional point of contact on matters related to program management in areas of relocation, immigration and tax.
In this role, you will be responsible for the management of the APAC Global Mobility Program which encompasses Australia, New Zealand, India, Japan and the Philippines.
In this role, you'll get to:
- Manage Atlassian's APAC immigration program and profile - ensure immigration compliance with local laws; partner with our immigration vendor to ensure efficient delivery of immigration services, partner with various teams to maintain strong relationships with government stakeholders
- Partner with our global relocation company to manage a high volume of relocations within the APAC region; be the escalation point of contact for policy queries and complex cases
- Partner with our global tax vendor to manage tax services provided to our relocating employees and to help prepare tax efficient strategies for assignments
- Design, implement and manage effective and scalable mobility policies with employee experience at the forefront
- Manage mobility policy exceptions and escalations, ensuring relevant stakeholders are consulted and matters are resolved in a timely and efficient manner
- Collaborate closely with internal teams including Talent Acquisition, HR, Payroll, Finance, Legal, Tax, Equity, Compensation and Benefits to design and implement mobility related initiatives, e.g. Internal Mobility, Team Anywhere (remote work), mergers and acquisitions
- Work on a wide variety of projects, both domestic and international and provide global mobility guidance
- Responsible for both regular and ad-hoc reporting requirements
- Conduct detailed cost analysis and track vendor invoices, contracts, and purchase orders
- Provide support and coaching to the Global Mobility Specialist - APAC; assist the Global Mobility Senior Manager with global projects and processes; work closely with a team of Global Mobility Operations Specialists across the globe
On the first day, we'll expect you to have:
- Bachelor's degree with extensive proven experience within APAC global mobility/HR - immigration and relocation experience welcome
- Demonstrated experience in providing guidance on mobility matters
- Experience with Workday advantageous
- Demonstrated program management and vendor management skills
- Leadership and coaching skills
- Familiar with operating as part of a global team
- Enthusiastic, positive and keen to learn and develop
