We now have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manager Commercial WA to join our Energy Solutions team in Perth CBD office on a permanent, full-time basis.

Reporting to the General Manager Gas Commercial, you’ll play a key role in developing and executing commercial strategies across Western Australia and supporting APA’s broader growth objectives. This is a dynamic and customer-facing role where you’ll lead complex negotiations, shape service offerings, and manage high-value commercial relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute commercial strategies that align with APA’s corporate objectives and market positioning

  • Execute commercial arrangements across WA, aligned with national and regional strategies

  • Identify and pursue new commercial opportunities that support APA’s growth pipeline

  • Negotiate and manage complex contracts that balance value creation with risk management

  • Monitor and manage relationships with APA’s WA-based strategic customers, serving as a senior point of contact to foster long-term satisfaction, retention, and growth

  • Develop pricing and service offerings in response to evolving market needs

  • Collaborate with Business Development and Strategy teams on commercial input for projects and acquisitions

  • Partner with internal teams (Legal, Finance, Operations) to ensure smooth deal execution

About You:

  • Proven commercial experience in the energy, utilities, resources or infrastructure sectors

  • Strong track record in commercial development, contract negotiation, and stakeholder engagement

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate market insights into commercial outcomes

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-centric mindset

  • Financial and commercial acumen with strong risk assessment capability

  • Collaborative and adaptable, with the ability to work across functions in a complex environment
