We’re experiencing rapid growth and we’re looking for experienced Data Consultants to join our Canberra team. With exciting projects in the pipeline, we’re seeking someone with hands-on experience in Data & Analytics projects in either AWS or Azure, along with superb communication skills to be involved in Data & Analytics projects that make a real difference to our clients. This role involves employing your initiative, technical knowledge and strong oral and written communication skills to translate and implement medium to complex requirements into Data solutions using appropriate methodologies and standards.
This role can be based remotely, with occasional travel to Canberra.
We’re looking for the following essential skills:
- 5+ years hands-on development experience
- Cloud Data Platform/Data Warehousing experience in Azure or AWS
- Proven experience liaising with different stakeholders, eliciting and gathering requirements
- Experience in ETL processes
- Strong SQL skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Australian Citizenship
In addition, you are also prolific in some of the following areas:
- 2+ years’ hands on experience with Power BI or similar data visualisation tool
- Programming and scripting languages such as Python, Java, Scala
- Demonstrated experience in working with large data sets
- ETL tools such as Talend, Informatica, Matillion or AWS Glue
- Data and Analytics Technologies such as Snowflake, Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Presto.
- Exposure to an Agile delivery approach
