Signalling Engineer – Graduate

Reporting to the Project Technical Manager we are currently recruiting for Graduate Signalling Engineers to join our growing team at ALSTOM in Australia. This is a great opportunity for a Graduate Engineer where they will be working on the Melbourne Airport Rail project. This is a transformational public transport project connecting Melbourne Airport to Victoria's regional and metropolitan train network for the first time.The role will be based in Melbourne on a Permanent, full time basis.
In this role you will:
- Develop technical documentation with input from Engineering, Test and Commissioning teams and obtain nescessary approvals from internal and external stakeholders.
- Follow up on technical issues, clarifications and requirements
- Contribute to the projects continuous improvement initiatives
- Gather and perform data analysis
- Provide support to the Project Technical Manager on the development and implementation of the signalling solution
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Completed or soon to be completed bachelors degree in Engineering.
- Able to develop a good technical understanding of engineering concepts and a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to work as part of a Team and interface with other Stakeholders as required.
- Previous work experience is desirable.
- Ability to interpret data in excel
