About the role:
Based in Melbourne, this newly created, full-time, permanent role will be integral to the success of the Smart Meter roll out across states within the National Energy Customer Framework (NCEF). You will be responsible for ongoing analysis of exceptions and operational reporting for Connections & Metering, have strong analytical focus, industry knowledge and be able to work collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure all contractual agreements and compliance obligations are met.
Duties:
- Work in conjunction with key stakeholders in Industry, Networks & Metering, Marketing, Products and peers to coordinate and execute Alinta’s commercial requirement in the scheduling for electricity metering services for Alinta Energy.
- Provide operational insights and performance measurements on mass meter exchange pipeline.
- Facilitate the execution of deployment forecasts for planned metering installation works.
- Provide operational SME insight, where required, to assist with regular governance meetings held to ensure commercial obligations are met.
- Assist with Connections & Metering processes and work instructions for continuous improvement opportunities.
Skills and experience:
- Strong experience within metering & new connections operations, , energy retailer or network business environment.
- Understand the critical business requirement to ensure accurate and compliant connections & metering to meet regulatory obligations.
- Highly proficient with computer skills with MS Office & SQL with the ability to produce complex documents and able to navigate around systems.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills including relationship management with stakeholders.
- Ability to manage cases and counter resistance to change or getting buy in from stakeholders.
Utilise your solid energy knowledge, strong communication skills and analytical skills, to assist with investigation and resolution in a timely manner, escalated complex, sensitive customer issues relating to meter exchange program & New Connections.
