About the Opportunity

We currently have a new permanent opportunity for a Finance Administrator to come and join our team! Come and join Acciona at this exciting chapter of growth.

The Finance Administrator reports to the Finance Manager, South Australia and is responsible for ensuring supporting all finance and administrative aspects of Project Management are conducted in an efficient and timely manner, and with a high level of accuracy.



Key accountabilities for the position will be:

The nature of the role requires close and regular interaction with Operations and Engineering staff across multiple project sites. So, building a rapport with our project delivery teams is key.

  • Docket Management. Perform and coordinate the daily tracking of project data (i.e. plant, labour, subcontractors). This requires you to monitor and maintain the Company's in-house project management & docket system.
  • Support payroll by monitoring and follow up on the daily recording of timesheets by Project Supervisors, as well as directly performing timesheet entries.
  • High volume accounts payable- including management of AP email inboxes for multiple projects in delivery, following up project teams for invoice approval and cost codes and liaising with suppliers to correct any discrepancies.
  • Raising and distributing purchase orders in a timely fashion
  • Support projects with project administration including booking travel, ensuring site amenities are maintained and other ad-hoc assistance to project teams as required.
  • Support contract administration including preparation of progress claim files, writing variation orders, coordinating signing and approvals.


What Capability & Experience will you need to have:

  • The successful candidate will be working across multiple projects and require strong time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks.
  • Able to adapt, solve problems and be a team player contributing to a positive work culture
  • Experienced in high volume accounts payable and docket management and able to learn our inhouse finance systems (Training provided)
  • Experienced dealing with a large volume of suppliers and being able to build and maintain relationships
